Dyness LS Series 3-8kW Inverter
The Dyness LS Series 3–8 kW Inverter is a residential hybrid storage inverter designed to maximise solar self-consumption and provide reliable backup power. Available in 3.0 kW to 8.0 kW models, it supports compatible Dyness low-voltage lithium batteries, generator charging and multiple battery connections. With less than 4 ms backup switching, dual MPPTs, up to 97.6% efficiency, IP66 protection and support for up to six inverters in parallel, the LS Series delivers a flexible and dependable solution for residential energy storage systems.
The Dyness LS Series 3–8 kW Inverter is a residential hybrid energy storage inverter designed to maximise solar self-consumption while providing fast, reliable backup power when the grid fails or available PV power cannot meet the load.
Available in 3.0 kW, 3.6 kW, 5.0 kW, 6.0 kW and 8.0 kW models, the LS Series works with compatible Dyness low-voltage lithium batteries, including the DL5.0X, DL5.0C, Powerbox Pro and PowerBrick ranges. This gives installers flexibility when designing residential solar and battery storage systems.
When a grid interruption occurs, the inverter can automatically switch to backup operation in less than 4 ms, helping maintain power to connected loads with minimal interruption. In addition, the LS Series supports up to six units in parallel for both on-grid and off-grid operation, making it possible to expand the system as power requirements grow.
The inverter also supports multiple batteries connected in parallel, as well as generator charging. Automatic communication with the battery BMS simplifies system setup, while CT phase-sequence self-correction helps streamline commissioning. A dedicated one-button charging function for load shedding provides additional flexibility where reliable battery charging is important.
For solar input, the LS Series features two MPPT trackers across the range. Depending on the model, maximum PV input power ranges from 6,000 W on the 3 kW model up to 16,000 W on the 8 kW model, allowing installers to match PV capacity more effectively to the application.
With a maximum efficiency of 97.6%, an IP66 protection rating, integrated protection functions and remote connectivity options, the LS Series is built for dependable residential energy management.
