The Huawei SUN2000-30/36/40KTL-M3 Smart PV Controller delivers efficient three-phase solar power conversion for commercial and industrial PV systems. Available in 30 kW, 36 kW and 40 kW models, the range reaches a maximum efficiency of 98.7% and uses four MPP trackers with eight PV inputs to give installers greater flexibility when designing larger solar arrays.

Furthermore, the SUN2000-M3 range supports a maximum DC input voltage of 1,100 V and an MPPT operating voltage range of 200 V to 1,000 V. As a result, installers can accommodate a wide range of PV string configurations while maintaining efficient energy conversion across varying operating conditions.

Huawei also equips the range with intelligent string monitoring across all eight inputs. In addition, a fuse-free design helps simplify system architecture, while integrated safety features include anti-islanding protection, AC overcurrent protection, DC reverse-polarity protection, PV string fault monitoring, residual current monitoring and arc-fault protection. The controller also includes AC and DC surge protection as well as integrated PID recovery.

For easier system management, the M3 range includes integrated WLAN and supports the Huawei FusionSolar App. Moreover, RS485 communication comes standard, while optional Huawei Smart Dongles can add WLAN, Ethernet and mobile connectivity.

Finally, Huawei designed the SUN2000-30/36/40KTL-M3 for demanding installation environments. The IP66-rated enclosure protects the inverter against dust and water ingress, while natural convection cooling reduces the need for active cooling components. The unit operates across a temperature range of -25°C to 60°C and supports installation at altitudes of up to 4,000 m, with derating above 2,000 m.
